Why I Loved my time at WeWork

Through the PSO Group, I had visibility in the entire WW Ecosystem and was able to utilize my skills in Product, Finance, and Design in multi-functional capacities.
In the Strategy & Operations function, Wework's PSO team is driven by a passion to cultivate and grow our global Product team – to make their lives and their work experiences more enjoyable, rewarding, and efficient.
Together, PSO designs solutions to the most pressing issues and challenges that WeWork Product faces, without losing sight of where we came from, where we’re going, and who is on this journey with us. Leveraging data and insights are integral as we create an environment that challenges our Product team members, encourages growth and innovation, and allows for self-discovery. We create new perspectives on how a Product organization should operate, and constantly exchange ideas throughout our process.

Responsibilities
- Support the HQ team on business planning, strategy, and special projects
- Support the monthly goal-ing and compensation process
- Build dashboards via Salesforce and BI tools to track, manage, and provide insights on KPIs
- Engage stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Research, Community, Real Estate, and Finance
- Support and empower Functional and Regional Growth Ops team members who support geographies or end-businesses
- Create presentations for team meetings and Growth initiatives
- Coordinate global stakeholders for centrally-led initiatives

While I am unable to speak in-depth about the projects, processes, and innovation at WeWork due to confidentiality agreements. And the resolution of the above images has been purposefully kept low to concur with that agreement. I can, however, provide an overview. The role at WeWork was to manage operations for product development, providing an overview to the management, keeping the systems for those overviews in check and documenting the development which was then used for internal training and also for venture presentations to raise further capital for the internal product development. In WeWork this involved multiple interactions with the different product, product research, and real estate finance teams. The insights were then documented on airtable, spreadsheets, confluence and Visio along with management discussion and analysis presentations. The experience was pivotal for me to start my own venture there after.
